I need to know the best way to launch my 98 Z28. It is stock except for my exhaust. I had the muffler taken off. What is the best RPM to launch at and should I drop the clutch from there or feather it and roll into the throttle. I'm kinda in the dark on this and need some help. I have a question concerning which tires to use also. I was wondering which ones would be better and if the weight of the chrome would be a huge issue. Thanks for any help.

1) Kumho Ecsta Supra : 245/40 ZR18 93W These are mounted on 18 inch chrome Polo Hydro wheels.

2) Firestone Firehawk : 245/50 R16 96T These are mounted on my factory 5-spoke wheels.
