Helmet Visor Anti-fog?

Anyone know a brand that works?

Thanks.

Try your local Dive Shop.

Re: Helmet Visor Anti-fog?

I just took the visor off my helmet, didn't think I would need it inside the car.

I use a full face helmet with visor in my race car, it's wide open: no roof or windshield (27T Roadster). In the Camaro, I suppose the face shield would be unnecessary.

Dive shop sounds like a possibility, thanks!

Ah, that makes much more sense.

If you don't find anti-fog at the dive shop, go to the local sports shop and look in the paintball section. Paintballers use an anti-fog spray for their masks. Don't know if you can use it on a helmet visor but it should say on the bottle.

Dive shop, potato, or spit. Ski shops (ski goggles), perhaps more likely to save a buck this time of year.

Check your local ski shop for a product called Cat Crap. It works great on ski goggles.

Say, what's that you're putting on your goggles? This? It's just some Cat Crap!

I know, but that's what it's called.

Re: Helmet Visor Anti-fog?

I use my motorcycle helmet, and they have breath deflectors? I don't know I guess that what I'd call it. Try any place that sells the kind of helmet you're using, those of us who have motorcycles love these things. I'll never go to the strip without one again. In the T/A I just put the faceshield up but one time I was there with the bike in cold weather, and about 1/2 way through a 1/4 mile run the thing fogged up suddenly. That's no fun at almost 100 mph on a track with no lighting (orlando speedworld sucks). Check a bike dealership or parts store, or someone online who sells helmets. These things are very cheap usually.

I would go to a bike shop. You can actually pick up a new visor that is anti-fog and also will automatically darken with the sun. I use one with my Arai. It's really great, but might be overkill for the 10 minutes you will be wearing the helmet at the drag. Visors will be around $50 - $80 and the breath deflectors mentioned above are between $15 - $20
