heater box removal clarification needed

Why don't you remove the heater completly and purchase an electrical heater...you can pick them up at summit.

If you remove your heater box, you can remove just about everything inside of the dash and put the heater in there. You an almost stuff a basketball inside the dash when all the heater related parts are removed.

This will eliminate all your custom work that would be needed in addition to the extra headaches dealing with the heater lines that normally run through your firewall.
