So this girl I like was driving her parents 5 speed Maxima last night. Well, she kept talking about how fast it was, and I was like "yeah, a 3.0L cant be but so fast" so I told her to follow me to this industrial park. We get there, and go to the end of this road, about 1/4 mile long. Well we line up, my friend danny gets out and makes sure we are even, and he gives the sign to go. Well I pulled off from her (i am in my 3.8 Camaro) for about the first 3 seconds, then we are even, then saw the car jump and catch 2nd, and I was already in second. When she shifted, I got a big lead, but then, out of no where, the nose of her car was at my side mirror. I dont remember what gear I was in, but as soon as she got that close the race was over, ran out of road.

Yeah, that kinda shocked me. I didnt think those things were that fast. Kinda made my car look bad though, but oh well. the LS1 swap will come soon enough.
