GTP cut 1.73 60' with street tires?

Is this even possible? A local guy has a GTP with a pulley, exhaust, tune and intake and ran 13.4@100 with a 1.73 60'. Now he didn't back up the 60' or ET, but does have the slip and the video. Is this achievable with a stock converter and street tires with front wheel drive? I personally think something blew through the beams or he staged with his back tires. Please give me your opinion.

yes. those cars can go 13s with minimal effort.. I see them all the time at the track with small mods running 13s.. that is a pretty good 60ft though for street tires. Definatly possible.

I have heard of a couple of them pulling some really incredible sixty foot times on street tires and stock converter... It definitely isn't common, but not impossible either.
