you should try bracket racing against one. they dont catch you untill the traps when they blow by you. its pretty wild. good times man.

That has always bothered me when it came to running something that is that much faster than you. What if they lose control, just where do you go?

Nice new times man!

I am still tuning my 150 shot on the really rich side and couldn't at ALL get it to hook my first night out last week. The car is lowered now so I need LCA brackets for sure and I had my 315 Nitto's at 20 PSI(not sure if that's where they need to be yet). Ended up getting a 2.05 60 foot when last year I had LOW 1.80 numbers on 275 Nitto drags and stock suspension! I'm gonna need a nitrous controller or just I am thinking about ordering a new trans and installing my 4200 Vig converter to come hunting your times down This would set my shortblock fund back a little bit however Any video of the runs? later man

It's weird lining up against a dragster. They way they do TnT at the local track, if you want to run the pro-tree, that can happen. It's probably safer than two closely matched cars though. The two cars are never really anywhere near each other.

What I like and is similar is having a fast, but stock appearing car and lining up against a roaring, big-block "race" car. Then beating him and watching the expression when you pass them at the big end! That's a hoot.

When I line up against them in TnT, I always let them launch and get down track a bit. It's during TnT that they are testing thier limits and if they lose it, it tends to be on the launch ...

You are so right on the nose. My car is a very plain looking full interiored Formula. When I stage up beside some open headered, carb thru the hood, gutted out interior/roll barred, all out bracket car that runs 12.4s to 12.8s (and there are a lot of them) and squeeze them out at the end or hold them off all the way down. The looks I get from them are priceless and some of the comments from the spectators are wild. I have even been asked to pop the hood and open the hatch to prove that I'm still running NA stock. Yep That's a hoot.
