I'm going to the track for the first time this month and I've had my car for awhile so I have been meaning to go for a long time. Even though I haven't been to the track yet I figure I should be able to get 12.8-12.9's with a sub 2.0 60', which I don't think sould be a problem since I can drive my car really well and get my tires to hook good. My mods are a magnaflow cat-back, slp lid, ls6 manifold, granatellli maf, and free mods with slp bellows. As far as rubbers I have bridgestone potenza 730's which hook up really nicely. I am going to be doing some new mods this month also, iridium spark plugs, wires, sfc's, diablo programmer (mostly for speedo recal.), and 4.10 gears. I'm hoping to be able to get into the mid 12's, am I being realistic? The track is only 80 feet above sea level. Also last week I smoked a head and cams lt1 and a tt 300 zx that runs high 12's all day. What's up with that?
