Gear help

Ok i just got my 98 Ls1 Camaro and it has 3.23 which have to go

I just wana no how much diff at the track whould i notice 4.10 to 3.73s
Also what whould be my engine rpm on the high way with 3.73 and 4.10s at 70mph

I've currently got 4.10's with my A4, and yes, they scream out on the highway. So do 3.73's (I had them last year) but if you don't do a lot of highway driving, why not go all the way? However, 3.73's are probably a little nicer "all-around" street gear. The 4.10's are the best for the 1/4 mile though IMO.....you cross the line between 5500 - 6000 RPM, which is putting the LS1 right into its power band.

FWIW, I ran the same time with 3.73's as I did with 2.73's, and even lost 1 mph (although, I couldn't get traction either). This year with the 4.10's, I've shaved off .4 seconds, and picked up about ~1 mph.

Try and order 4.11's actually.....I can't remember who makes them, but the gears are 37 & 9 teeth instead of 41 & 10, which makes them thicker, and theoretically stronger.
