front shock/spring install/setup

This might not be the right place for this, please move if need be, but I'm really interested the setup for drag racing. I just got a set of HAL/QA1 adjustable shocks, bearing kit, and 275# springs of a board member who is parting out his car. He said the bearing kit helps adjust the spring height while weight is on them. Are there any other things needed for the install of these? What would the best settings be? Loose as possible? Since the front is now adjustable, would the rear setting now need to be played with? Is it better to lower the front end some or not? Would lowering the front end negatively effect launch if you can adjust the shock tension?

Sorry for all the questions, I just need a starting point and these are not going to come with any sort of paperwork to point me in the right direction...
