First Track day

I went to Alabama International Dragway yesterday and ran the Z28 for the first time.

13.991 @ 99.00.....I was pleasantly surprised at it since it is almost completely stock.

r/t .433
60' 2.092
330' 5.931
1/8 9.040
mph 79.28
1/4 13.991
mph 99.00

2nd pass was crappy

r/t .302
60' 2.261
330' 6.125
1/8 9.243
mph 79.17
1/4 14.206
mph 98.79

I don't guess it was too bad, but I know that I have alot of improving to do. And now that I know what it will do stock, I can start modding it and seeing some better times.

2.09 is a very good 60' for your very first time down the track!

Your car seems to be running pretty well, too.

It was my first time down the track in an automatic, But I have been racing in a 6M 350Z for a year, so my best 60' in that car was a 2.0 as well....I should be getting better soon I hope!

Those are some really good trap speeds as well. I was running 13.3 with about the same trap speed. Some good tires, and a stall will really drop your 60's and ET well. Add some LTs and you will be in good shape!

Do you know what gears you are running? Im guessing by your traps they are 3.23s or something close.

How are you launching Celeste? I bet we can get your 60' down some.
