first time at track

So i finally took it to the track, best run was a 13.9179 does this sound like a decent run? i think it should be faster... my mods. ran 7 times...
4.10 gears
CAI
MAF
LTs
underpulley
hypertech programmer ( got it with car back in the day)
GMMG chambered
PRO 5.0 shifter w/ lou short stick
i think thats all of it, but also i think the clutch is slipping. would that make a big dif? Heres one reason i think its slipping, say im cruisin at 50 mph in 6th gear, if i gas it the rpm shoots to redline in 2 secs or so, but the car isnt going any faster. Either way think im ordering a spec stage 2 clutch

That's a good time for your first time at the track.

With those mods, you should be good for low 13 sec. passes once you have more practice under your belt.

Good first time. Ya drag radials and a new clutch should help out. I know what you mean though, my bro just put a spec stage 2 in he ta and it does almost the same thing that your talkin about only jumps 2-3k rpms though. Not knockin the spec clutch we think it may be the master cylinder or a shim that came with the kit that may or may not have needed to be installed.
