Drag Race Allignment?

Is there a specific spec I should be looking for in my allignment for drag racing?

As it sits now I drive to and from the track, and sometimes around town. I'm looking into getting a trailer so I don't have to drive the car on the street much anymore, and easier to carry tires, jack, tools, spare nitrous bottles, etc. And in my area (Sacramento/Northern California) the cops are going nuts over modded cars, and sending folks to the smog referee's... bad juju.

Anyway, here's my stats:

'96 Camaro Z-28 hardtop 6-spd
PA Racing tubular K-member
PA Racing tubular lower a-arms with heim joints
Stock upper a-arms
Stock PS steering rack
LS1 front brakes
HAL/QA1 Shocker R series front shocks
HAL/QA1 front springs
HAL/QA1 rear shocks
Stock V6 springs or Stock V8 springs
Spohn DA lower control arms with heim joints
Spohn DA panhard rod with heim joints
Spohn Heavy Duty TA with heim joint
KBDDSFC's
Moser 9" with alluminum through bolt center section, backbrace, detroit locker, 4.30 gears, etc, etc.
Soon to be installed Wolfe Racecraft single rear swaybar

Car weighs about 3400lbs, 3680lbs raceweight.

Thanks for any and all help.

Yeah positive catser helps with the vehicle going straight. I could look up your specs and tell you what you need to have for all your specs. being as I do alignments and crap for a living. Also fourth gen's you need a special alignment tool. You don't want toe in. You want toe adjusted to be zero total toe and matched to your driveline (aka rear camber and toe) and also make sure your steering angle inclination is all hunky dory. But yes Stephen 87 was very much right.

Re: Drag Race Allignment?

Well since I have tubular front suspension with no slots for adjustments, all you need is a big hammer or an extra set of hands...

I was planning on getting a 4 wheel allignment anyway, to make sure my rearend is straight with the front and not crooked with the adjustable parts I have back there.

Thanks for the help guys.

So I guess I'll shoot for 0 camber, +4 caster, and 0 toe...

Thanks a bunch. As it sits now, the suspension looks to be fighting each other and VERY darty on the freeway.

But 15x3.5" Welds and 26x4.5-15 Sportsman Fronts just do that.
