drag + handling suspension?
I don't know a lot about suspension, so maybe you guys can help me out with a newbie question:
Which suspension mods will improve both drag AND handling performance? Which should be done first?

Well for Drag and Road Racing suspen. up grades. Pretty much the springs, shocks, Lower Control arms, Pan-Hard Bar, relocations Brackets, and a Torque Arm will do it.
Bigger Sway Bars are really only for Road racing, because alot of people take their front sway bar off for drag racing, so the front end of the car can transfer more power the rear more better.
Hope this helps.

I was under the impression that stiffer springs/shocks were for handling while softer was preferred for drag racing...so you cant improve both at once right?
Do the LCA and Panhard rod improve handling, or only launches on the drag strip? I'm really looking to improve my car without hurting it in another area

The Nitto Drag Radials are really a good tire for both handling and drag racing. I've run the 275/40/17 and the 315/35/17 tire. I auto Cross with them and I pull 1.80 60 foots with them in a 14 second IROC-Z with a stock torque converter and 3.73 gears!
If I had more power, i'm sure the tire would get me well into the 1.70-1.75 60 foot time range!
They're cheap too compared to other "High performance" tires!! Goodluck!

Thanks for the replies, I'll definately be checking out the Nittos not too long from now.
Aside from the tires, what should be the first suspension part I buy for the strip AND the curves?

Subframe connectors will be an improvement. After that things start to become a compromise. I would set the car up for handling, and then have some REAL tires handy for the strip. Just my .02.
