went to the track for the first time friday and the numbers don't add up in my opinion.
maybe you guys can decipher the results for me.it's a 94 z28 a-4

.8037 reaction time
2.7550 60 ft.
15.5019 1/4 E.T.
96.92 trap speed

does this look like a traction problem. it felt like it was spinning till about half way through 2nd. how is it possible that i can run a 15.5 quarter and kill a high thirteen second car on the street, from a roll?
any input would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

well, i would say you spun through first gear cuz your 60 foot is really high. And you probably spun some after that too. I think most guys are at least around 2.2 with a little spin, maybe even lower.

With a 2.75 in the 60' you were way beyond spinning. That is just about a full on burn out past the 60' mark. An average driver should be able to pull below a 2.25 with a stock A4 on street tires. A good driver would be in the 2.0 range. No offense but learn to drive the car. Roll in to the peddle some, don't just stab it.

a friend of mine got a 1.80 60' with his A4 TA on H rated all season tires

i got a 2.0 with my M6 back in the day ...

ur mph is way low too .. check ur wires / plugs .. do some maintenance ... u should be trapping closer to 100 mph if ur bone stock

with a 60' time as bad as that, the mph is about spot on.

Gotta remember, when you spin that bad,it severely affects mph, especially if it spun into 2nd gear.....then the car is accelerating from a "flat spot".
