edit: another thing... ya think its actually worth it to take out my spare tires and jack and keep the gas tank low? whats that good for? a whole 10th??? if it'll shave a 10th i'll do it.... but im not gonna bother for a few hundreths

Trying to get to the track with about 1/4 tank or so will last you all day. 1 gallon = 8 pounds.
The less weight, the better. As for the stall on a car that gets mileage a lot. If you keep your foot out of it, it won't be too bad. Mine's dropped a lot, but after the break-in period for my trans, I don't think I've went for 1 ride in the car without throttling the **** out of it.
