Re: Cam Change

Thats kind of a way too general of a question...The larger duration cam may require more gear, converter, fuel, and will require tuning. Its too hard to guesstimate your question. I've seen many people go to bigger cams only to go slower. What's your whole set up consist of? What do you do with the car? Street/ strip? Strip? etc...what are the complete specs of the 230/236 cam? and what do you run now in ET and mph?

Lightbulb Re: Cam Change

i am currently running LT4 Hot Cam, LT4 Heads, intake, 1.6RR, 3.73 gears and 100 shot TNT nitrous kit along with 4L60E auto tranny with 3000 vig stall converter. This car is a daily driver an average of 160 miles a week. Also, my heads have been ported CC machined. I am currently running 11.70s in the 1/4 mile - no other changes have been made.

What benefit if any will be gained with a CC230/236 with 110 lope separation?
