Bolt on lt1 1/4 times
My 94 Z weighed 3475 with me and a half tank of gas and it was stripped. I mean, no carpeting, rear seats, abs, smog, summit poly seats, lightweight wheels, etc.....
Hard to work on is an understatement. Unless you have the ability/time to drop the entire k member and engine you're in for one helluva time working on it. 3 days to do head gaskets on the car are what prompted me to sell the thing and move back into Mustangs.

All of these "bolt-on" only cars are hovering in the 315rwhp range so it boils to weight, torque multiplication, and car prep to get the good ET's and mph.
I know this winter I've spent quite a bit on tubular suspension, coil-over front, and some other weight loss deals. I also took a step in the wrong direction with getting a 9" (but I did add some gear) and I'll be adding a roll bar because I'll be running in the 11's this spring!
