Unless you have the cash to burn or only put a couple thousand miles a year on your car I would stay away from BFG DRs for a street/track tire ...that and they don't hold for sh*t when thier wet.

Don't get me wrong they hook great and if your car is in the garage most of the time, when it's not at the track, they would be perfect.

For a true street car that goes to the track occasionaly, the Nittos seem to be the best thing going right now.

Good Luck

I used to run BFG Drag Radials. I liked the tires. They are not intended for lots of mileage. I would get 150 or so strip passes out of them and probably 5000 miles. I don't mind driving slow in the rain.

I eventually switched to more robust track tires due to my performance needs but I was pleased with the BFG's.

The Nitto's have twice as much tread when they are new so many guys prefer them to the BFG's if they do a lot of street driving. The bottom line is that these are performance tires and are intended for racing. They have a soft rubber compound and will wear quickly. That is what they do.

If you know this going into the purchase, you can make a decent informed decision.

As far as the fron tires, I ran BF Goodrick CompTA's and liked them very much. Now I run skinnies.
