From 5:30 to 9:30 last night, the track was so dead that I hot lapped my T/A the whole night, and put 34 runs in! Funny thing is that my car never dropped off at all. New personal bests!!!

It was freaking cold out there, and there were no more than about 20 cars max there. It was awesome!!

 

I visited that track when I was on vacation. Do all the tracks up north have bars with hot chicks as bartenders???? Maybe someone needs to open one up down south!

That is how my local 1/8 mile track is. I can usually make as many runs as I want to.

Yes, it's somewhat of a new concept. I guess maybe the last 5 or so years it's been there.

Funny how they call it the Winner's Circle though... It's packed with all the losers because the winners are still racing.

It's nice though. We pack up the trailers and head over to have a beer before heading home.

It's March 22nd. If ya can't make that event, GM Hi-Tech is April 5th, and that should be fun as well. I'm kinda surprised SLP day is so late this year. Very odd how the schedule's changed so much.

 

What time does the event start? I could swing up to the event, and then straight to the Disturbed concert if the timings right. GM High Tech day is most likely a no go for me due to an impending military deployment that I'm scheduled for. Oh well...
