I was looking around at rims on jegs and came across these. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...05&prmenbr=361

They have them in 15x8 with 5.25" backspacing, so they should fit. I was just wondering if anyone knew. Basically I'm looking for a cheap set or rims for drag radials.

 

Any 15" rim requires either a spacer or grinding the caliper for brake clearance.

It's a steel wheel. It would be heavier than a stock aluminum wheel. If all you want is some spare wheels to mount DR's for a trip to the track, why not just buy a pair of used stock wheels? You can usually pick them up for $50-$75 ea.

 

I just found out it weighs 27 pounds, so it is out of the question. Ideallly I would like to go with a 28" tire, thats why I didn't want stock rims.

 

unless you havent listed all your mods,a 28" tire would be overkill.
