Anyone run a V-6?

O.k I have a 95 bird...3.4 bone stock....someone gave it to me a few months ago...

Everything I have is torn apart right now and there is a $3,000 race this weekend. Do these things run pretty tight? Don't care how slow it is....do they run the same number?

Couldn't say for sure but most cars will repeat if you can get them to the line in the same condition each time and drive it the same way every pass.
Be mindful of the tire pressure, coolant temp, and intake air temp, if these are the same then the performance should be the same.

those should be high 16's low 17's. the condition of the car will effect its consistancy. if its prone to overheating, for example, obviously it will run different times. is it an auto?

Its an auto......I remember my friend had one in the late 90's and it would be all over the place.....3-4 tenths difference. Its going to be pretty embaracing but for $3,000 I can deal with it

theres a guy that has a flat red volkswagon beetle conertible(70's era). it looks like some mods have been done but it runs consistant 19.85's and 19.86's all day. its pretty amazing how close he has it dialed in.

its all in fun anyways. if someone gave me a free car and i had the opportunity to race for $3K, i would in a heart beat.
