Anyone cutting 1.4 60' or better with BFGs??
I had bfg drs for a while but I could never get good traction with them. If I didn't do a pro-stock burnout I would spin through second on na runs, and never tried a nitrous run on them. If I remember correctly my best 60ft time was 1.86. On the MT ET Drags, I have consistently cut 1.55-1.59 60ft times on na runs. I know their are 8 second cars that have bfg drag radials but I don't exactly know their set up or amount of power they have.
Steve,i know this doesnt do us anygood, but the NMRA Drag radial class have gone as far as 1.400 and an "unofficial" (unable to be proven 1.38.
My friends Stang is the hardest hooking car in NMRA drag radial and goes consistent low 14.'s.

Willie Figeuroa has run an 8.25@169mph with a 1.27 60ft on D.O.T. tires. I am not sure what type of Dr they were though, either BFG's, Nittos, or ET streets. But they were street legal tires. This run was made at an NMRA wild street event. The drivers had to drive their car on a 30 mile cruise, then they got a 30 minute cool down. The tread width on the tires had to be under 13 inches. Their was a 2,800 lbs limit with power adders and big blocks getting weight penalties. Willie car is supercharged so he had some weight penalties. But he was able to get a 1.27 60ft time on street legal tires.
