Any 1.4X sixty ft's on MT ET radials?
Any 1.4X sixty ft's on MT ET radials?
My best sixty foot time on Hoosier QTP's are 1.44 with a bunch of 1.47's to low 1.5X.
Anyone making good power and cutting 1.4's (or better
) on the new MT ET drag radials
I hate changing tires and would like to just get a set and keep them on full time (currently using my old Nitto 245's but they are too small and don't hook for ****).

I've got my fingers crossed. I'm hoping they will hold 1.4s with 275-60-15s. Nice looking car you have there,

my buddy's car cut a 1.43 on a 275-60 MT Drag radial with a 383 and a th400. went from a 28" hoosier drag and says he likes the drag radials better. i am probably gonna try a 325-50.

Check out bmr's website there are a few cars on there with the radials in there cusmtomer rides section cuttin 1.4's and lower. I personally have cut a 1.57 with a 100 shot on top of a cam only lt1, 2800 stall and 3.42 gears. Gas comes on at 2800 rpms.

I have been 1.50 60's leaving on 100HP n2o. They will definately hook the power your making with some suspension tuning and a decent track. I am running the 325/50/15 on my T/A. Good luck

What size / backspace did you use for rims? Any other mods to fit them (besides the FORD wrench)?

I used my 15x10" Welds with 7.5" backspacing. There are a couple guys on LS1 tech running them with pics. I did have to use the BFH to get them in there but they look awesome. ATV racer I think on that board went 1.4X 60' with these tires too. Later Clint

I'll look for him to see some pics.
Will probably have to upgrade from my 3.42 gears though....
I talked to a buddy at the track who was running a 275/50/15 and he was cutting high 1.5X on street night where the track is less than stellar (he was running 10.7X @ 128) and he's going to let me try his 275's the next time we can hook up at the track.
