almost 11s...

ran a 12.10 @ 114.5 with a 1.70 60 foot... i cant seem to do any better then a 1.7. also that run it kind of bogged, it hit really hard at first then feel on its face, i dont think i got in it quick enough. i did manage to kill my clutch the next pass... tryed dumping it around 5000.

What size tire are you running? I was only getting 1.7's with my car when it was a m6, then I changed to an A3 and now it's 1.5's.

i yanked the sway bar off a few weeks ago and that got me down from 1.75 to the 1.70.

Nice Run!

Do you have any flow numbers for your heads? I have a very similiar combination and am hoping to hit 11's with a hard launch. My heads are SUPPOSED to flow 285 intake and 215 exhaust at .600" but don't think they actually do since my MPH is kind of low.

My race weight was 3700lbs.

hey blkchevyz .. me and u have identical cars even down to the mods i think u gotta pay me some money for royalties since u copied my setup :P

black 94 Z / m6 / CC306 / FLPs / 30#ers / ported LT4s / rear end etc etc .. except i only made 371 rwhp cuz my stock fuel pump was dying of the top end .. but i did run a better time and mph on a slower 60'

post some pics of ur car .. mine are in my sig.. i also have vids of my 12.1 run in this forum if u wanna check

cheerZ

ps. grover: work on ur tuning (if u havent done a dyno tune DO IT) and lose some weight .. i could only get 113 mph @ 3700 lbs .. then i dropped to 3520 and went to 115.7 .. but my heads also flow 305 / 228 @ .600

I had the car dyno tuned before I took off the factory muffler and put on a Spintech. It was tuned to 12.8:1 AFR. For exhaust I have Hooker LT's, 3" Y-pipe into Spintech Muffler. Just by changing the muffler I picked up a good 2+ MPH.

The only weight reduction to the car was removal of the back seat, that weight also includes the Moser 12-bolt.

Blkchvy, don't you feel bad for only running 2 tenths faster than a hotcammed car that has 40rwhp less than you...

When you get the new clutch, you can use my 11.5 ET Streets.

no i feel bad that i spend over 2000 on heads and cam and only gained 2 tenths....
yeah but you needed ported heads to get thoes times, when i had my hot cam i did it with stock heads, and a 1.82 60 foot.

But you have a M6 and I have an A4, there is the difference. I'll be quicker the next time at the track..

So you only gained 2 tenths by having your heads ported by ARE and installing a 306 cam over your hotcam and stock heads? There is no need to about your problems..jacka$$
