Question Air bag removal

how do I remove the Air bags and the sensor under the console from my car? How much weight will this be? This car is not a "practical car" so please refrain from trying to convince me from doing otherwise...
thanks in advance,
Rick

I have been thinking about doing it.

My question is can I use the airbag cover for the dash and the steering wheel?

i pulled both my drivers and passengers the drivers is very easy. i replaced my factory wheel with a grant 1081 looks great i get tons of complements. drivers not really to heavy but the passenger is very heavy. its a pain to get out you got to remove the dash pad and loosen the entire dash and pull the air bag out. takes a long time and youll be pissed by the time you get it out but it is wourth the weight savings/
