Adding Hal QA1's and K-member!
Adding Hal QA1's and K-member!
I broke the main caps in my LT1 so while I am putting a steel crank, h-beam rods, new low tension rings and a new cam I will also be adding a BMR K-memeber with solid mounts and a set of Hal's. Last time the car was at the track I had a problem with spinning and it may have had a little to do with track prep but the best I got was a couple 1.66 60's and the worst was 1.69. The car has run quicker 60's than that before with less power so I know it was spinning. How much could the extra weight off the front and the addition of adjustable struts really help? I am hoping lower 1.5's on motor and 1.4's on N2o what do you guys think? Later Clint
I think that you should be able to get that 60' down with your new mods. The front raising quicker will have the most affect on it and the lighter weight that it has to lift is always a good thing.
I hope it works guys b/c I have a few things done already but it really never hooks up hard. I have relocation brackets, poly bushings in boxed in rear control arms, removed front swaybar and a RR airbag@18-21psi. The best I have done is 1.58 on the gas and spinning. Thanks Later Clint
