To add to the "race tire fitment database"

I mounted the new 27x11.5x15 Hoosier QTP's today and put them on the car. The wheels are 15x8.25 with 6 3/8" BS Bogart P1's (with a welded on spacer to clear the brakes). They fit great. Nicely tucked up under the fenders ('95 Z-28 'vert) and no clearance issues except at the lip at the rear of the wheel well. I trimmed a little there and solved that problem. Unless you look under the car you would never see the area which I trimmed. No hammering, no rolling of the fender lip, which is the way I wanted it.

Just FYI.

Pictures??
Darn that's just exactly what I'm going to put on when I wear out my 16" ET streets.
I already have the P1 15x3.5s with some 165s on them.

No pics (no web site) and I don't have the fronts (yet). Things got out of hand this year with the car and I had to draw the $$$ line somewhere. But they fit fine. No unsightly bulges!

Rich, if you shoot me a few pictures, I will throw them up on my server tonight. I would be intersted to see the fitment as well.

I would like to see some pics of this car just to begin with. I have always wondered what color it was...

Rich, I'd really like to see some pics too. I will be running the same tire but on a 15x10, 7.5bs draglite. I have wheels, and new studs ready to go in. Just have to come up with the funds for the tires. My wheel is 1.75" wider but just about 7/8" more bs. That should phisicaly put the them in darn near the same spot as yours, just with a wider wheel. I was worried about having to really beat up the wells to fit them in there.

No pics yet, we had the road wheels on tonight and I didn't have time to swap 'em. Probably not 'til the weekend at this point.
