Re: 98 z28???

run it and find out

Wouldn'n't hurt to throw a new set of plugs in it if they haven't been changed lately.

I have the same set up as you and was wondering the same thing. I havent decided what gears i want to put in but am leaning towards 3.42's. Thought that would be a nice compromise on engine rpm and power.

Re: 98 z28???

When my car was bone stock and BRAND NEW, it only ran a 14.1 @ 101. Then I put the lid on (for what it's worth) and ran a 14.0 @ 103.

THEN I went to the track early the next season and ran a 13.4 @ 105.8!! All that changed were the conditions and the mileage on the clock.

It seems that times are all over the place for LS1's (and even LT1's). I think it was Robvas who had an LS1 w/2.73's (A4) that ran 13.08 @ 108 stock!! But for your '98 (with the true "LS1" intake vs. the LS6 intake, and a different cam) a 13.5 is not out of the question. Don't be surprised if you run 13.3 or 13.8 either!

Yep and they work good at the track with a 3500 stall.
