Anybody running 7.0s in the 1/8th mile? Just wondering what your setup consisted of. thanks

 

How about you telling us a little more on what you have so far? Mines a H/C stalled auto with 3.73 gears and a 130 shot set up for the 1/4 mile. 6.9 so far in the 1/8th.

 

so far i have run a best of 8.05 in the 1/8th on a 1.67 60ft time. Stock long block, LTs. ORY, CAI, BBK throttle body, MadZ28 tune, 3600 tci stall, moser 12 bolt 4.10s, MT DRs, stock suspension and some weight reduction - 3500#s w/ me in it. Just wondering what it would take to be competetive in the 7.0 heads up bracket.

 

A 150 shot and some et drags should get you there

 

7.84 spinning 3900lb with me in it.

 

Car in sig runs 7.0s, stock short block, heads/cam and all of the boltons, a4, big stall, drag radials, 3340lb raceweight, NA

 

heads and cam or a 150 shot. Your going to need 110-130 more rwhp, maybe more.
