I cut some 60' times in the 1.92 - 1.96 range last year, on my Hankook street tires, with the 4.10 gears, doing a quick ~5 second, maybe ~10 second burn-out. Even with BFG drag radials, I only got a 1.94, but at that point, traction wasn't the issue ..... I need a stall converter to stop the car from bogging so bad.

 

I don't think its the exact same tire, mine were $100 a pop(might be the speed rating, mine are Y rated to 170mph or something like that). On the street traction is much worse, so it leaves me skeptical to how they perform on the strip. I'll probobly see good results with any old tire if the strip is prepared right.

 

Probably the 712. 1/2" water groove down the middle? 711s aren't like that.

 

when my gscs were new the best 60ft i got was a poor 2.18 which considering our track only has concrete in the burnout box cant be all that bad!
