450rwhp,3750lbs 500ft DA what should it trap?

If a car weighs 3750lbs, 60fts in the 1.50's has 450rwhp, in 500 ft DA what should its trap speed be?

Did you want that by speculation, or calculation?

David my buddies stocker only runs 125 but has been deep in the 10's. He is 34something# and 425 rwhp

But the car deadhooks and cuts 1.27 60'. so in a heavier street car I would say with even more h.p./mph it would still go 10.90 or maybe 80's

I am after TRAP SPEED... the weight vs RWHP.

BTW If my converter was looser I would go 10.80s easily, I run 11.02 with a 1.50 60ft.

Calculator shows that a

3750# car with 450 hp should run 11.81 at 113.45mph
3750# car running 124mph should be pumping out a little less than 585hp.

Those numbers were calculated by hp/weight formula from two sites. This is one that has been REAL close for the Dyno #'s and ET-MPH numbers I've used.

I think thats wrong, those calculators are weird.

I wanted real world stuff, stuff someone has seen. And knows about.

My car makes 450rwhp, weighs 3750 and runs 124 mph.....something is flakey about those online deals

Funny you should say that, they all use the same one.

I thought that was a basic physics formula.

Those calculators sound like mph and times for FWHP, not RWHP. Just my guess?

Not enough info. Depends on the drivetrain.

What have you dyno'd since the motor fix? If 450rwhp is an assumed number, all of these guesses are skewed.

What type of dyno were you on? Any tricks on the dyno? Been on multiple dynos and have any comparison numbers?

Also there are many things that effect trap speed that aren't factored into your simple equation. Humidity, tire spin/shake, ram air, motor temp, locked/unlocked converter......and tons of other things.

What exactly was the mph on the run? Was the converter locked? Was it locked on the dyno?

Is that 450rwhp locked or unlocked?
