I know it will save my clutch from my 3.23's but won't I top 4th before the quarter and burn my tires?

 

You'll have trouble with traction but you won't have a problem running the quarter in 4th until you get more mods.

 

get the 4.10's you'll love them i did! one of the first boltons i did! awesome bang for the buck!

Lets see so I'll be at about 6000rpm at 110mph in 4th gear right? I have heard the 4.10's are too much without a cam. Hey Taner I was in Canada when you ran that 9 sec pass. You probably would remember me. That car was nutz. Good Job.

 

with my car stock and 4.10s I was crossing at the end in 5th, and was shifting at 5750. I did get much wheelspin so not sure if this plays any role or not. I gained on average 2 tenths, still slow times because of 60ft, but at least better, my mph went down 2, but talking with others that day, they said conditions were bad, and everyone was down. Only ran that one day with just the gears, so I can't say if I would have had better mph
