13.38 @ 108.8

I went to the track tonight for my first time in 4 years, and the first time with my current set-up. I was pretty happy with my ET and MPH considering I have Fuzion ZRi street tires. Here was my best run of the night:

60ft...2.3398
ET....13.387
MPH..108.81

I think I was pretty consistent, especially for an M6 car. Out of 6 runs, my 60' varied between 2.292-2.40 with 4 of them being 2.34ish. My ET varied between 13.387 and 13.459, and my MPH varied between 107.66 and 108.81.

Obviousy I completely suck at launching. I don't know how much of that is due to my lack of skill, the Fuzion ZRi street tires, or the AutoZone clutch. I smelled A LOT of clutch burning I put this in a few years ago as a temporary clutch after my RAM died after 600 miles but it has held up well until now.

What are your thoughts on my times and any tips for a good launch on street tires? My car is the same as in the sig except for SLP Bilstein shocks, rear lowered by hose mod, front has a cut coil, and I have LCA relocation brackets and the LCAs are currently parallel to ground (not angled like I hear would be ideal).

You have thte MPH you just need traction. With traction you could be well into the 12s.

2 words. Drag radials.

I do plan on getting drag radials when my current tires are through. Probably over the winter. What is a decent 60' time with street tires and my set-up?

You're making good power for sure and the double edged sword of Don't Bog/Don't spin has got to be really tough. More camshaft makes it even harder to control. 2.00 seconds would be a HUGE improvement and should be reachable on a prepped track, even with crappy tires. Goodluck!

Im running the same tires. I got a 1.9x on them. Found out early though that I had to put some heat into them to get them to hook. Not sure if it was the heat or just cleaning off anything that had accumulated on the tires from the run before/pit area. I skipped the water, just done a little bit of a burnout, just to the point of smoke coming off. Definately helped me. I also dropped them down to 22psi which seemed to help from earlier on in the night. I was surprised at how well they done.

A 2.0-2.15 60ft shouldnt be too hard with street tires and the amount of powre you have. That should put you into the hi 12's/ low 13's. But if you could pick up some DR's and a line lock a 12.75 @110 shouldnt be a issue with a 1.85 60ft.
