That’s how I get it to run 12.7’s is to move the shifter into 3 after it shifts into 3rd.

LOL I was and am still somewhat skeptical about placing that in my signature. 4300+ requires a little bit more torque.

AWESOME PETE!! Welcome to the 12 second club!! Nice short time too!! I betcha is you got yourself a stall you would be sitting pretty with some 1.7s. It was one of the best upgrades I've done coupled with my MTs DR's.

You sure can drive the wheels off that thing!

Thanks dude!

But one question: how do I put a stall in front of a T56???

My original plan with this car was to keep drag racing as a primary "focus", and I had full intentions of getting a ~3200 - 3600 stall for it. However, after I smoked the 4L60E last summer (road racing) I decided to go with the T56 conversion, since I got totally hooked on the road course! BUT that's not to say I don't still like drag racing, and all it means is I've gotta learn how to run a 6-speed down the track now . This car still has A LOT left in it, I just need to get it off the line quicker than I was ... I'm confident it has at least ~1.8's in it, and probably ~12.6 - 12.7's .

Also ... I need to do something about my clutch ... not sure if I just need to do the "drill mod" or what, but after a hard run, the pedal nearly "sticks" to the floor?!?!? (but that's an issue for another thread/forum ).

with lcas, re-locs, and 4.10s on a 255 BFG drag radial i cut the sixty in the sig, and that was spinning so it could have launched even better than that...congrats on 12s!

edit: a big smokey burnout always got my bfgs to hook best
