1/8 time lt1 1997

My 1997 Z28 M6 hardtop ran a
8.8 @ 82 mph with a 2.1 60 ft and 90% humidity yuck....
expecting 8.6 -8.7 next time at the track with new tires =)
stock internals
Spec stage III clutch
B&M ripper
4.10gears
polyurethane tranny mount
sophn panhard bars
Zr1/SS style rims 17x11 rear 17x9 front
Maf descreened/ported
tps pro kit
k&n Fpik
freedom design carbon fiber strut brace
eibach pro kit
bog warner preformance wires
boshe +4 plat plugs
gutted cats
3inch cutout
Hypertech programed
hypertech 160 thermastat
air foil
free mods


any1 think the cut out is hurting my time?
any advice in future mods for better times with out cracking her open.

The cutout should only help you not hurt you.

Those are the only things helping you, the rest is just signature filler. For thos emods thats about right for the sixty and temp.

I never see the difference in my times with or without the cutout. -It's electric, open and closed back to back many times. I think a difference will be noticed once I get my headers on.

Anyway, I think the tires will make a big difference. I do 1.83 60fts on spinning Nitto's all night. You MPH seems good for a better time with traction.

I gained 7 rwhp and 9 rwtq with my cutout open. It does add power even if the butt-o-meter is not registering it.
