If this is with the mods in your sig I would be looking to see if something is not hooked up right. I would think you would have no problem going 90mph in the 8th. Your best run looks to be around a 13.3. Not too shabby for a street tire.

Cool new times

Hey yall

I put the BF Goodwrench DR's on my car, and wow.

The tires are great, but NOW I've found out that the RAM Clutch that I have isn't liking them. aprox. 2000 rpm launch

Times.

.873.....reaction
2.0...... 60 ft
8.5 ......time in 1/8
86 MPH

It's gotten better, but now the clutch is slipping off of the line. 1st to 2nd, it grips, but I know that I need to stop now.

The tires dropped a full .4 seconds off of the 1/8, so I'm a true believer in the BFGDR's.

Now I'm going to take the tires back off before I ruin them by everyday driving, and enjoy the rest of my clutches life.

I know if I buy a new HP clutch, then my rear end is going to go.

I never have ran my car in the 1/4, but if I so I will post the times.

well, I broke the crankshaft in the z, but anyway...

I'm building it back up with forged internals, and I was wondering if I was running 8.5 before with 3:42 gears, wonder what it will do with 4:10's.

Maybee I need to go with 4:56's with the 6 speed.

what do yall think?

4.10's are the perfect gear for an M6 car....

4.56's are just too much.

If your having problems with traction with only a 3:42 gear, what do ya think will happen when you upgrade to a 4:10 gear??

I fixed the traction problems with the bf drag radials, so I'm off for a new set of gears.

Then I'll probably be back for some slicks.

Right now I'm waiting for the machine shop to finish with my stuff.
