yeah dont feel bad at all, these LT1's seem to have a lot of persistant gremlins. Mine is still runnin 9.1 1/8th mile with everything i have done, that was on a 2.3 60' but still not that great considering the only bolt-ons i dont have are e-water pump and underdrive pulleys

14.99@92.9
stock i ran 14.7@95. though i do have an auto.
first 2 things i did was fuel filter and KN cai. that right there gained me 3 tenths and 3 mph.
i would try a that plus new plugs and wires if they are old.

plugs and wires have less then 5k on them. isnt ram air equal or greater then cai.

IMO not noticeable enough to make a difference.
