Re: Z28 camero

You need software that can flash program the PCM. There's some program info here:

https://www.lt1pcmtuning.com/tips/

Alternatives include the Hypertech Power Programmer - new they are too expensive, used the price is not too bad, but the original owner has to have returned his PCM to stock, removing the Hypertech program, or it can not be used on another vehicle. It's useful for changing things like rear axle ratio, rev limiter, top speed limiter, fan on/off temps, etc. But the "power program" is useless.

Next alternative is a mail order tuner. They shouldn't charge too much for just a gear ratio change, but while it's there you could also have them tweak the stock program for a 10-15 HP gain, or to accommodate any modifications you have made.

Might want to correct the spelling to "CAMARO".........

And, let's move this to the correct forum, "Site Help and Suggestions" isn't for tech questions. It here to address problems with the site.

I had my speedometer recalibrated after a rearend gear change and a 3200 stall, the dyno tuner did this when the vehicle was on the dyno.
