My laptop does not have a serial port. Can I order the usb/aldl cable for my 4 z28 and tunercat and free scan will work with them?

Yeah, i got my cables from moates.net. Never had a problem, works great.

 

So both freescan and tunercats will work with the usb cable?

 

Some work some don't be sure you get one from a company you know works with those programs. akmcables.com is where I got mine, works great. I'm sure the above mentioned works great too as stated. This said I wouldn't buy a generic one from radio shack as I tried this a long time ago and the one I picked up didn't work.
