Why would the cylinder volume be off?

Like the title says. I had the car tuned for a 383. My cylinder volume is set at 717.25 which should be the stock size. When I calculate 383 out , I get 784.52.

What gives? Why would this be?

If the cylinder volume changes in the program, would this change anything else?

Who did the calibration? Sounds like you need to get your money back. The forgot to changed the cylinder volume cal. 784.53ml/cyl is the correct number.

I won't name anyone, just yet. I am keeping tabs of things . The tuner is well known on these boards, but more about that later......

By changing this value, will it automatically change other settings?

No other cals will directly change as a result of changing cylinder volume. However, if you have made other cal changes (VE tables, extended VE tables, etc) the fuel delivered will likely be incorrect now.

I have'nt changed anything but I am not sure of what the tuner did.
I mentioned to him a descreened MAF. (wish I never descreened it)

Would you mind looking at the bin file?

I really wish I could get a stock bin file for a 94z28 a4. I searched Monodax and got a few and each one had been different, so I still don't know what is stock. Just to compare the 2 would be nice.

I have a stock file for a 95 A4 TA, if you want to compare.

If you're not running in speed density mode its not going to do anything at all.

Once the tune is done, I wouldn't mind trying speed density. I have VE master but am a LONG ways away before I even attempt Speed Density.

Yes, I should have qualified that. I listed air meter curve by mistake. Changing it wouldn't make a difference. First post has been corrected.
