Don't worry about that, there's no geniuses working there, especially these days. If you can't get the parts there just order them from Digikey or Mouser or one of those places.

If the security light is going out and you are getting a code 46, the TDM fuel enable signal is not getting to the PCM (either because the TDM is bad or there is loss of connectivity). Information to bypass this and generate a replacement signal was in the link posted in post #2. Bypass modules are not expensive (~$15-$40) and can be found on ebay.

The reason you got no responses on your previous attempt was because you put it in the wrong forum and one that is rarely visited. If this thread had a meaningful title, it probably would have gotten more responses, too.

 

everyone said the bypass modules were expensive and really havent had time to search for one but i appreciate the info i have gotten from everyone.i am kind of new to these chat forums and will try to put on a better title next time.thanks again dave loveless
