who has the best rep for mail order tuning?
who has the best rep for mail order tuning?
do i have to get the pcm tuned after longtube install? wheres the best place and will they adjust the pcm perfectly?
Will they tune it perfectly if i send the pcm in the mail or is the only way to get it perfect be to take it to a dyno? and if i take it to a dyno place, what do i need to hook up to my car so they can adjust things? for my camaro i had to buy a air fuel calibrator so they could adjust for the rich/lean, is there an af calibrator i have to buy to get my ls1 tuned? is there anyone who can get it perfect through the mail? thanks guys sorry for being a pain

For headers, you can bring it with a MAFT ($100 used) on a dyno and set of O2 sims ... no PCM tune necessary.
Personally I haven't seen a mail order tune get it right yet and most of them lock out the PCM, so you have to send it back to them any time you want it changed ...
Save your PCM dyno tuning for when you get your cam/heads ... then sell the MAFT and 02 sims ... Good Luck

1st the bad news: "Perfect" & "PCM tuning" are incompatible terms.
2nd the good news: There are several PCM tuners with very good reputations. Without a Dyno, the tune is a best-guess effort based upon previous examples and experience. I have used Ed Wright and am very much biased in favor of his work due to his experience, knowledge and outstanding customer support to me. His prices are very reasonable, when considering the follow-through he provides.
