Where's the EPROM

I would like to socket my PCM, I opened it up today and could not determine witch chip was the EPROM.

Could someone show me?

Re: Where's the my EPROM

So does this mean I'll need 2 sockets and a pair of chips?

Where do I send this to get the sockets installed and where do I buy the chips?

Yes there are 2 chips. You can buy the sockets from digikey, and you can reuse the chips once you unsolder them. I did mine myself, but if you want to send it out there are a couple of places. Here's one that sell the chips and does socketing. They also sell a kit with the socket and chips for 45.00 to do yourself.

Re: Where's the my EPROM

lol @ thread title.
If your PCM dead from a reflash failure, 1 or both of the chips may be bad.
I got the pre-flashed chips from madtuner, removed the bad chips by cutting the pins and removing the chip, then desoldering the pins and soldered on the sockets from mouser.
BTW it's a flash based PCM, not EPROM or EEPROM.
