Re: where can look on my data master file?

You need to provide a little more detail on what you mean by "sometimes my engine died". How does the engine run, when its running? Smooth, or misfires, surging, etc? Under what conditions does it "die"? What happens when it dies - does it just shut off and refuse to start back up.... does it start to stumble, and then "die" at idle?

It would also be helpful if you advised the year of the LT1 engine. Since you are using DataMaster, it must be a 92-95 engine, but there are differences between the 92/93 engines and the 94/95 engines that can affect diagnostics and scan data.

I would start by using DataMaster to look for trouble codes.

Re: where can look on my data master file?

ok, more details!

sometimes, the engine dies after 5 miles, sometimes after 150 miles! the engine dies aprubtly and the rpm goes to zero! one sec. later, the engine runs normaly.
in germany, we checked all components and changed all! ignition, optispark, ignition module

the problem is 99% the bad programmed chip! the lt1 is from year 96, the ecm from 93! itīs true!

so, i have the file (200 kb) and you can see all details, perhaps an expert see the problem between the differenz!

the programm datamaster vers. DA 3.4.1 is for downloading free! mh, where can help! please give me your email, and i will send the file to you!

thank you so much

Re: where can look on my data master file?

Your 93 is speed-density (as opposed to MAF) and uses batch fire injection (as opposed to full sequential in the 94 and newer models).

If you can send me the file as an e-mail attachment, I will take a look at it. My requirements are:

1. File must be in ".csv" or ".xls" format. There is an "export as .csv" option in DataMaster.

2. e-mail "subject" must contain your CamaroZ28.com screen name, and the words DataMaster Log

3. File must be free of viruses.
