what is the turnaround time for madz28?

I ordered an email tune from madz28 last night and am just wondering how long the turnaround times usually are. Im going to the track on sunday and wondering if I will get it before then. Is Ion usually prompt with emails? No reply yet on my email that I sent yet.

I found Ion's number today and got a hold of him over the phone. It turns out he is in the midst of moving, which is why he has been away from the computer lately. He said I would be getting my tune sometime today - wooohoo! i cant wait to get home from work

Thanks Ion.

Yeah I sent him an e-mail a while ago and I haven't received a response yet, I figured something was up. Still hoping to get my tune before I have to move also.

Yup. Ion came through for me. I was having some problems with uploading my tune up, and he promptly helped me get everything sorted out. Time to go for a blast around the block and see if it made a difference!!!!

I wonder what is taking him so long on my email tune then? I paypal'd the money last wednesday. He accepted the money on Friday, and has posted on here on Sunday. I would expect a bit faster turnaround on an email file.

Well I got my tune by e-mail today, although I won't get the chance to try it out till tomorrow. Then I'll have to find somewhere that won't attract cops or rice while I take it through 1st 2nd and part of third.

My observation is that Ion is pretty busy so his e-mails are fairly sporadic. You'll get several in one day then reply, but he's already gone so you won't get a reply back for a few. For the price it can't be beat though, even if it does feel like it takes a long time to slap some tuning together. The more that people recommend him on here the busier he'll get.

It is definitely worth the wait. My stroker is running a hundred times better after Ion's work. You wont be dissapointed!

LOL, test drive was fun, feels a little stronger and doesn't have that tendency to bog anymore. It was hard to tell since it was so stinkin hot out this weekend. But I did have fun pissing off a V6 Camaro. I don't know why he thought he was going to win I guess it's cause I had an auto and he had a stick Or maybe it's because his exhaust tips were twice as big as mine. Nothing like having a 3.8 floor it by you after you just made him look like a retard.

Disclaimer: Usually I don't pick on V6 Camaros, but this guy was just asking for it.

Anyway, Ion's tune was great, just not having to play with the fan switch anymore is well worth the 60 bucks it cost me, plus I can always go back for free now when I get headers, cam etc. I'll reserve judgement on the rwhp gains till I've had it longer, but it does feel a little smoother.

Update:

Car feels stronger than before. Method used for testing was SOTP. Therefore, no accurate hp measurements could be taken.

I will say that I think I noticed more of a gain with this than I did with a Moroso intake, and it was cheaper, so
