What scanning software to use?

I just received my ALDL cable today and need to know if anyone can explain how to use the software for the LT1 engine. I have a 1994 LT1 Camaro. i have a laptop and cable. Which software is the best to use? I think you can save your data also? Any help would be appreciated.

Datamaster is the best. You get 20 free scans with the trial version.
