veh. factory security

anyone no how to bypass this thing.car is new to me dealer is closed and my transmiter is not working,its a 1996.thanks. anyone,anyone.

Can you be more specific? Can't get into car, security light on, won't arm, goes off immediately after arming, remote doesn't respond, etc.
