Using AutoXray with gutted car

I have a completely gutted 1994 Camaro LT1 that is a road race only car. I have removed ALL the interior of the car and wiring/modules.

I have an AutoXray scanner I want to work with the car, but when I hook it up it says "Vehicle not responding"....

The only wires still connected to the Data Link Connector are the Tan and the Blk/Wht wires that run to the PCM.....the others that used to connect to the EBCM and the DERM modules are no longer connected. Will the scanner work without the other modules in the "loop"?

Thanks,

Randy
