Tuning without FMU and I need a supercharger program.

I know there have been posts on not using an FMU but I can not seem to find them right now. I want to know if I would be better off using the FMU or trying to tune without it. If I tune without it, can I run stock injectors or do I have to put larger in? If I use it, is the ATI piece or the Vortech piece better?

Last off, I need a baseline program for the car. Her car has:

Stock block and heads
Lunati 50155 cam (I think it was 208/212 and .510/.530)
Hooker shorties
Flowmaster catback

I can change the tables for her Vigilante 3000 converter and 3.42 gears so they are not of any concern.

last question: Would there be any benefit at all to go with a 52 TB with the blower? I will be putting on a P600B with the 3 core intercooler.

You cannot use stock injectors on a blower combo without some way to adjust the FP. You could use an adjustable FP regualtor, but likely the base pressure would need to be so high as to make it impossible to tune except for WOT. So, if you want to use the stock injectors, you will need an FMU. I am not sure where the bias against FMU's comes from. Any vacuum referenced FP regulator IS an FMU, just with a 1:1 ratio. If you don't want to use the FMU, you will need larger injectors.

As far as a file goes, unless the combo is essentially identical, it would be of no use to you.

My prior combo made over 600rwhp (and near 750rwhp on the juice) with a stock TB. I wouldn't replace it on a relatively low boost setup.

Just IMHO.
