Re: tuning for stroker motor?

I have modified my motor. Updating for the 383 increase is easy with LT1 edit or tunercat. It is only one parameter in the PCM data tables. The fuel injectors are a little more tricky, but you can also do them with this tuning SW. The tough part is updating for the CAM. I am bringing my car to a professional dyno person for this. I have not found any good info on how to update the PCM tables for CAM changes. I think that is because you need to do trial and error small changes and converge on the correct solution with a dyno without trashing the engine.

Re: tuning for stroker motor?

all you do is make a little change and then scan it to makes sure its ok. to tune for a cam, its timing and fuel. but you better know what tables to use.

You say make a little change and scan to see if it's ok. What do you try to do to timing & fuel? What do you look at to see if it's ok? Which tables? Is there a write up somewhere on this?
